HyperSpy lecture and tutorial @ eBEAM summer school, Sept. 1-13, 2024

The summer School on Nano-optics with Free Electrons (eBEAM 2024) will feature an introductory lecture as well as tutorial sessions in small groups of about 12 people on data analysis for EELS and CL using HyperSpy and its extensions LumiSpy and eXSpy. The school takes place at the Paul Langevin CNRS site in Aussois (French Alps) between Septembre 1 and 13, 2024. Applications for the summer school will be open between March 4 and May 1.
Open Source Data Analysis Workshop @ IUMAS-8, June 12, 2023

The 2023 meeting of the International Union of Microbeam Analysis Societies IUMAS-8 will feature an Open Source Data Analysis Workshop. The one day workshop on June 12, 2023 will precede the main IUMAS meeting and takes place at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity in Canada. The workshop will include tutorial style presentations on HyperSpy as well as the extensions pyxem (4D-STEM analysis), LumiSpy (cathodoluminescence) and kikuchipy (EBSD).
HyperSpy Training Workshop @ 18e colloque SFµ, July 3-4, 2023

A pre-conference training workshop on HyperSpy will be held at the 18e Colloque de la Société Française des Microscopies (SFµ) in Rouen on July 3-4 2023. The workshop will feature an introductory talk and hands-on tutorials on HyperSpy, EELS analysis, EDX analysis, Diffraction and LumiSpy.
HyperSpy/LumiSpy Tutorial @ CLEBIC, March 22-24, 2023

The 2nd Workshop on Cathodoluminescence and Electron Beam Induced Current of Semiconductor Nanostructures (CLEBIC) from March 22-24, 2023, at Institut Néel in Grenoble will feature both a short introductory lecture as well as a tutorial on “LumiSpy – Luminescence Spectroscopy Data Analysis in Python Using HyperSpy”.
